  • It sounds like you have the 2017 Forest River Vibe 301RLS which is just under 36' long. It looks like this has a GVWR of about 9,650 lbs so that's what we'll base our system off of. A properly loaded trailer needs to have a tongue weight that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of the trailer so if someone were to load the trailer so it was maxed out they should have a tongue weight in the 965 lbs - 1,447 lbs range. Since you're renting this out it might be good to keep a tongue weight scale...

  • LED lights draw such a low amount of amperage that basically any amount of bled through voltage/amperage can light them up. So in situations like yours basically you discovered that your one light circuit has a small amount of bleed through that is lighting up the single LED. One solution is to just try and ignore it as it won't really affect anything. Or you could disconnect the wiring when not in use.
